If you want your heating system to work effectively all through the winter season, it is necessary to a six monthly inspection and tuneup of your heating system. If you have the necessary technical skills, make sure you carry out a thorough heating system inspection as follows:
1. Check the filter — Ideally, you should change the furnace filter once in six months. However, some filters are permanent and they just have to be removed, washed and then replaced again.
